General Properties of HDPE Polyethylene Pipes

HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) pipes are pipes with diameters between 20mm and 800mm and pressure classes between pn 4 (4 bar) and pn 32(32 bar).

HDPE is an abbreviation and stands for High Density Poly Ethylene. It is a high density polyethylene. HDPE is obtained by subjecting petroleum derivatives to various processes.

You can use HDPE pipes for drinking water transmission. The HDPE pipe system underwent many tests in 1950, especially on the transfer of drinking water.
